Twitter has taken another step against trolls and offensive content with a new feature letting users share information about block lists.
Block by block
Twitter announced the news in a blog post.
"Today we’re making it possible to share block lists on twitter.com. This new, advanced feature makes blocking multiple accounts easy, fast and community driven," Twitter wrote.
Safer and smarter
Block lists let users create a document that bans abusive tweeters from posting on their Twitter page.
By making it easier to export or import other block lists, users and brands might find it easier to shield themselves from troll accounts.
The update is the latest from Twitter as it attempts to crack down on abusive behaviour on the platform, after CEO Dick Costolo recently admitted his company was failing on bullying.
