Twitter has updated Moments, now letting mobile users create and curate their own experiences.
Momentous update
Moments lets you collate tweets, images, and videos together to create short-form content that can be shared on the stream. It works in a similar fashion to Snapchat Stories.
You can create Moments on mobile by selecting the "Add to Moment" button. Once your content is collected, you can sort the order of tweets, and alter elements such as background colours, before publishing.
Big moment
When Moments first rolled out it was restricted to select publishers, and then advertisers. Now Moments is available to all desktop and mobile tweeters.
While Twitter arguably releases more beta tests and new features than any other platform, Moments looks to have more staying power than most. Or at least investment from Twitter.
Whether it's enough to encourage more activity among users is another matter.
