Facebook has unveiled its new Spaces feature, allowing users to share live video within a VR world, bringing friends together in real time.
Hangout “virtually” any time
Users will be able to share their immediate surroundings as a VR experience, that your friends can follow live as you share.
A virtual camera allows you to stream video as others comment and participate along with your broadcast in the moment.
Comments and reactions are made into virtual artifacts that can be interacted with by others, all within the virtual space.
We are VR
Coupling with Messenger video calling, Facebook Spaces is attempting to create a unique format by which users can augment the way they comment and share in the moment.
What Facebook has created is essentially an animated reality by which the process of interacting is driven through comments and likes but delivered with new pageantry.
Does the addition of VR to your Facebook experience sound like an appealing feature? We want to know what you think, give us your thoughts.
