Amazon continues to extend its virtual tendrils into new territory with the debut of its first live TV show.

Style Code Live is a 30 minute fashion and beauty show hosted by a former Miss America, an ex-Big Brother contestant, and an MTV presenter.
The program is available to watch daily on Amazon, and doesn’t feature ads.
However where Style Code Live may be of interest to more than fashion buffs is format: it allows viewers to directly buy items featured in each episode.

It’s not the first show to offer this function, but as a retailer Amazon is in a unique position to ply and profit from promoting its wares.
Style Code Live is the latest in a slew of experiments from Amazon and it seeks new revenues streams.
Past dalliances have included its own fashion label, expert articles and a proposed fleet of delivery drones.
