A new report has found senior marketers expect their digital spend to soar in the coming years.
Digital dollars
The report from Accenture surveyed over 500 senior marketers from around the globe.
Over a third of respondents believed that digital spending will make up 75 per cent of their budgets over the next five years.
Further, a similar number think mobile will make up 50 per cent of marketing budgets.
Social spend
The survey revealed that 39 per cent of businesses currently spend over £100m every year on digital marketing, while 41 per cent predict that figure will rise 5 per cent by 2015.
Just 8 per cent of respondents expected cutbacks on digital spending.
Return on Investment
Measuring ROI on all those digital dollars is becoming more important.
Close to half of senior marketers say analytics will become more crucial over the next five years.
