eBay's advertising network, the eBay Commerce Network (ECN), has announced a partnership with Australian shopping aggregate tool Lasoo.
Networking
The agreement sees Lasoo become a premium publisher with ECN, meaning merchants who advertise on the network will gain access to Lasoo's million plus monthly customers.
“The partnership with Lasoo is an endorsement of our advertising network offering for merchants. Lasoo becomes our largest Australian partner,” said Adam Shalagin, Australia Country Manager for eBay Commerce Network.
“Our robust network ensures that we’re able to deliver increased value to advertisers, enabling commerce for publishers and providing real-time access to all services, products, features, listings and merchants.”
Sharing the wealth
In April eBay rebranded shopping comparison site shopping.com as the ECN. The new site positioned itself as a central hub for campaigns that can be pushed out to a range of partners and third-party publishers. The network brings together 8,000 merchants and 2,000 publishers to provide access to 250 million consumers globally.
ECN has locally partnered with Kogan, The Iconic, oo.com.au and CrazySales.com.au.
By partnering with ECN eBay gains increased access to Australia's fast growing online shopping community, while Lasoo will expand its portfolio of online retailers to include international brands.
