Enhance engagement via new Vimeo tools

Vimeo hopes to lure content creators with a new collection of features for Vimeo Business members. They’re calling them ‘interaction tools’.

Calls to action

Vimeo has new customisable options that let content creators control what appears after their video has played. These include social sharing icons, infinite video loop functions and custom images and links.

End screen improvements will be helpful for video accessed directly through Vimeo, it’s make even more of a difference to videos embedded into other sites.

Cards to custom destinations

Link outs from videos are also a must for modern product marketers.

Designed to be unobtrusive and non-distracting, creators can insert as many cards as they need, and can link to any page they want, whether it’s crowdfunding, merchandising, or a campaign landing page.

Vimeo says they’re fully compatible with social media embeds too, which is a nice touch.

Build your list

Vimeo lets creators slip email capture forms with customised wording into their videos. The forms can appear before, during, or after each video. Creators also control whether or not viewers are given a choice to opt-out.

Vimeo’s list collection service is compatible with Mailchimp, Infusionsoft, Campaign Monitor, or Constant Contact.
