Looking for the meaning of life, or just some general guidance on existence?
The ancient Greeks might have had the Oracle at Delphi, but we have Facebook.
Pollsters
Facebook now has GIF-supported polls on web and mobile, so you can ask anything to your social diaspora.
To start a poll, compose a post and select the “what’s on your mind” field. Then click on “Poll” and follow the directions.
You can post a question of any length (and philosophical substance) and set a time limit of your poll.
Users will be limited to 25 characters when responding. To make up for the short shrift, they can add images and GIFs when responding. All responses are anonymous.
Chatterbox
The update follows Facebook’s recent habit of copying features currently popular on Instagram.
Earlier in the year, Instagram introduced polling stickers to Stories, while Twitter has long featured polling.
Aside from a potential boost in engagement, polls could help brands take the pulse of their followers in real time.
Have you used polls in your marketing? Let us know how it went in the comments.
