Now Christmas is coming early to many a marketer: Facebook at Work is finally set to launch.
Work date
Facebook at Work is the platform’s enterprise product, similar to Salesforce Chatter and Microsoft’s Yammer.
Subscribers can sign up for a “Work Feed”, which features posts from colleagues around work-related content and tasks. Presumably all images of kittens will be automatically filtered.
Growing pains
Facebook at Work has been promised since 2014, with the Royal Bank of Scotland rolling out an extended trial of the service in early 2015.
It finally looks like the kinks have been ironed out, with a global launch expected this month. Pricing has yet to be finalised.
While the field is already crowded, user familiarity with Facebook could help prospective users sign on the digital dotted line.
