Facebook has made it easier for publishers to make money from Instant Articles.

Over the past few months, Facebook has been testing ad units placed in the related articles section, at the bottom of Instant Articles.
The results have proved promising, with RPM, or revenue per 1000 page views, increasing by 50% in the last six months. While on aggregate, Instant Articles delivers between 20 – 50% more traffic, in comparison to mobile web content.
Now, all publishers can take part in the ad unit tests. And earn real money.

Besides the ads, Facebook has also launched new call-to-action units and monetisation features including flexible ad placements.
Currently, Instant Articles shells out over US$1 million per day to participating publishers through Facebook Audience Network.
