Facebook is making new lead-gen features available to car dealerships that can be fed right through their CRM.
Connecting with the consumer
Ads created using a dealership’s vehicle catalogue can deliver leads directly to a salesperson’s customer relations marketing system, and improve highlighted inventory with stronger local campaigns.
Both Hub City Ford and Camping World (an RV dealership) have been beta-testing the new ad system in the US state of Louisiana. By targeting website visitors for a test drive, 154 leads resulted in 34 additional car sales.
Ads that only included in-stock inventory coupled with an existing lead-form generated 3X the return on ad spending.
The journey
Dynamic ads for auto dealerships was launched last November to foster a more personalised experience, allowing vehicle lists to be uploaded along with details of make, model, price, and location.
The latest update is fine-tuning the ad product and providing dealerships with more control over a given ad’s lead generation.
Stay tuned to see if the feature gets a wider roll out.
