Facebook is doubling down on in its marketing strengths and leaked screenshot’s of promotional materials reveal a brand new tool for marketers.
Natural allies
The new search engine works by allowing advertisers to seek out influencers for specific demographics using specialised targeting options.
These options include gender, interests, education, relationship status, life events, home ownership, and markets where a product may be most popular.
New horizons
The new feature, originally published in German under AllFacebook.de, will create a list of influencers and the percentage they match search parameters, engagement rates, follower reach, and views.
The platform will not take a cut of revenue during testing. Facebook is trying to foster a stronger medium for original advertising content to conquer commercials, magazine ads, and billboards.
Search engines for influencers already exist like Creator IQ, Fohr Card, Hypr, Tap Influence, and Whalar. However, what Facebook can offer is first-party data from across its associated apps.
