Facebook has released a new photo uploader that looks and feels a lot like Snapchat.
If it walks like a duck…
The new uploader is available for iOS users, and allows Facebookers to overlay images with text in a variety of colours, and access preview filters to see how their snaps will look.
As an added extra, Facebook stickers and re-sizeable emojis can also be added.
Photo finish
While Facebook has been focusing on video this year, photos haven't been forgotten.
The platform recently rolled out support for stickers, while Facebook-owned Instagram now supports a range of emojis.
Snap it up
The update might not be the most original Facebook has rolled out, but they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
How much that consoles Snapchat remains to be seen.
