File sharing service Box is teaming up with Google to make working in the cloud more streamlined.
Out of the box
At the recently BoxWorks conference in San Francisco, the company announced is will become a third-party storehouse for Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
Content stored in Box can also be searched using Google Springboard.
The partnership means that Box users will be able to create and edit Google Docs directly from Box.
Teamwork
While Google already offers a range of cloud based services via Google Drive, the partnership might encourage more of Box's business users over to Google's services, and make collaborating online more efficient.
It may also keep users away from rival services offered by Apple and Microsoft.
