Are all those 4K videos and high-res photos getting a little crowded across your devices? Never fear, Google’s new cloud storage solution is (almost) here.
One cloud to store them all
Dubbed Google One, the new consumer storage plans begin at 200GB storage for US$2.99 per month, while you can get a whopping 2 TB for US$9.99.
That’s half the price Google previously charged for this kind of real estate.
Keeping it in the family
If you find that you’re not uploading enough to fill up 2 TB a month, Google One also lets you share your storage with family members.
And if mum or dad need a bit of help uploading their recently digitised slide sets, there’s support from live Google Experts also on offer, which can be accessed with one tap.
This includes 24/7 phone support in the US, while support options are yet to be announced for Australia and New Zealand.
Finally, for those with more modest storage needs, Google still offers 15 GB of storage for free. Google One will be rolling out globally in the coming months.
