Instagram adds a new way to creatively reply to Stories

Instagram is now making it possible for users to respond to Stories through videos, photos, and boomerangs.

Instant gratification with style

Users will be able to respond via video to a Story just like traditional posts, with the added flare of stickers, text and a plethora of other unique embellishments.

Replies will be accompanied by a thumbnail of the original video image, making it easier to indicate which part of the Story your friend is replying to.

As per usual, you will still be able to keep track of who has replayed the Story and who has taken a screenshot.

We do not need words

What Instagram has presented is a completely textless approach to replying to Stories, solely through images and video.

The addition seems like a feature that could have easily been included at launch. Whether or not there has been a demand remains to be seen but it does fit with the usual Instagram repertoire.
