LinkedIn reveals new Experience Design

LinkedIn wants users’ past work experience to stand out with their latest section redesign.

Your working journey

Everyone’s career path is different and pivotal to the professional they’ve become, which is why LinkedIn is providing a new feature to showcase this experience.

According to LinkedIn, profiles are viewed up to 29X more when multiple past positions are displayed in the Experience section.

Users will be happy to discover that the new showcase feature will automatically group consecutive positions held within a single organisation into one section.

Add that XP

To get started go to the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn page and click View Profile. Go to the Add Profile section of your introduction card and click Add, next to Work experience.

Finally, within the Add Experience pop-up window, enter your information and click Save.

Users will find it much easier to reflect career 180s in a concise manner while showcasing different successes right across the board.

What do you think about the new feature to help better reflect changes in direction? Have you had a similar need in the past? Let us know in the comments below.
