LinkedIn: The most promising jobs of 2017

Looking for a change and want to know what jobs are hot this year?

Look no further than LinkedIn's list of the most promising jobs of 2017.

Medicated

LinkedIn trawled its databanks for jobs with high median salaries, year-on-year growth, strong openings, and opportunities for promotion or advancement. 

The two top jobs come from the medical field this year: Hospitalist and Pharmacist.

Marketing nous

However you don't need a medical degree to pivot position this year.

Sales Engineer comes in third position, with a 159% YoY growth and base median salary of US$80,000.

Tech and finance positions fill the next few listings, including Site Reliability Engineer, Product Manager, and Financial Analyst.
