Better late than never right?
More than a year after the format was supported on Facebook and YouTube, Vimeo has joined the 360 video party.
Spider eyes
Creators and brands can now upload 360 videos – in glorious 8K if you really need to. Of course an 8K 360 video would probably take longer to load than watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy with deleted scenes, but it's nice for Vimeo to offer the feature.
You can also customise your 360 video, including intro and outtro screens, viewer controls, and text.
Money machine
Vimeo has also launched a curated 360 channel, and 360 Video School if you want to learn more about the emerging medium.
For 360 video pros, you also have the option of selling your immersive clips in 360 video marketplace, if you have PRO of Business membership.
If you'd like to learn more (or start uploading) visit vimeo.com/blog.
