The ubiquitous #love was the most popular hashtag on Instagram in 2015.
#Warmandfuzzy
Instagram revealed the most popular hashtags of the year in a blog post.
The love hashtag was used in 800 million posts this year, the third year running love has topped the tables.
Like or Love?
And the love doesn't stop with a hashtag. This photo of Kendall Jenner's heart-shaped hair was the most popular photo of 2015 on Instagram. It attracted a tidy 3.2 million likes.
However there might be a new challenger in the works. Instagrammers now use emojis in over half of their posts and comments – leading to speculation that an emoji might snatch #love's crown next year.
Unless that emoji is the heart icon, of course.
