MailChimp has launched Product Blocks, designed to help e-commerce stores feature multiple products in email campaigns.
Shopping centre
Once your store is connected to MailChimp, you can add Product Blocks via the Campaign Builder.
After a product is selected, details such as images, title, price, and URL will automatically be pulled in from your store.
Product Blocks can be customised, for example by altering prices and adding a call-to-action button.
You can also send unique campaigns to targeted audiences, using MailChimp's Predicted Demographics feature.
Sell and learn
Customers who click on the Product Block will be taken directly to the product page of your store. Shopify users also have the ability to send recipients directly to their Shopify cart.
After a purchase, relevant data will be added to your MailChimp report, so you can see what's working and what needs tweaking.
