YouTube attracts over 1 billion monthly active users, and over 4 billion videos are viewed every day.
Over one month a lazy 6 billion hours of YouTube videos are watched, and every minute 100 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube, with the number rising.
Still not impressed? Consider that every minute 323 days worth of YouTube videos are watched on Facebook.
YouTube is a big hit with mobile users. Mobile makes up 40% of YouTube traffic, and attracts 1 billion views every day.
Meanwhile the YouTube app was grown 27% year-on-year since 2013, while 73% of US users access YouTube on a tablet.
YouTube is a pretty big deal all around the globe.
Now available in 61 languages, over 80% of the platform's traffic comes from outside the US. However, 15% of US users admit visiting YouTube during work hours.
Half of US teens list YouTube as their favourite website.
YouTube is also rather profitable. In 2013 advertisers spent US$5.6 billion on the platform, while in the same year YouTube netted close to US$2 billion in global digital ad revenue.
