Here's one you might have missed over summer: Pinterest Buyable Pins have got smarter about spotting bargains.
Red spot special
Pinterest announced the news in a blog post.
Now Buyable Pins will alert users when the product they're pinning drops in price via an in-app notification or email. Users can make a purchase directly from the Buyable Pin.
Previously, users had to monitor pins for any bargains.
Let's make a deal
Buyable Pins were launched early in 2015, and now there are over 1 million of them used by Pinners across the globe.
The shortcut to purchasing seems to be paying off. This year Pinterest is tipped to net US$170 million in revenue.
