Are Likes now passé on Facebook?
Perhaps not quite, but Reactions are quickly gaining traction. In fact, there’s now a way to rank your Facebook posts, based on Reactions.
Smiley Face?
That’s right. CrowdTangle now lets you rank your posts based on the six Facebook Reactions (Like, Haha, Love, Wow, Sad, and Angry).
Using the CrowdTangle Facebook dashboard, you can customise how your feed is ranked based on these Reactions. For example, when posting a funny video you’re probably after more Haha than Sad Reactions.
You can also set custom weights for notifications. This means you can see which posts got the most Likes, or which photo attracted the most Wows. This functionality extends to CrowdTangle’s Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit dashboards.
Lot to Like?
Facebook added Reactions back in February 2016. Since then Facebookers have used Reactions over 300 billion times. The most popular reaction is Love, being used for 50% of all Reactions.
For marketers looking to drill down beyond Likes and Comments, CrowdTangle’s dashboard could be the ticket.
