RebelMouse launches new tool for publishers

RebelMouse, a startup aimed at boosting your content’s organic reach on social media, has launched Discovery—a new tool that connects publishers with like-minded social media accounts.

RebelMouse’s Discovery tool is a customer relationship management platform (CRM) that can be easily integrated into many different content management systems (CMSs).

Snapping right in with the likes of WordPress and Drupal, Discovery is all about amplifying the organic reach of your social posts by connecting you with likely sharers.

How it works

Discovery uses the tags that you assign to your social post to find other accounts that also frequently use that tag, or associated tags.

The platform uses that information to automatically create a list of social media accounts that historically share content that relates to your post.

Crucially, the accounts that it highlights have been vetted to ensure that they have very well-developed organic reach of their own.

Discovery also lets you dig into the engagement stats for the suggested like-minded social accounts so you can get a real feel for what works for their audience.

RebelMouse claims that for about 70% of the accounts if highlights, that they also find the associated email address so that your outreach team can get in touch directly about creating a content sharing relationship.
