SMK’s app of the week: Over

Sometimes going that extra mile can reap all sorts of rewards: an adage that's especially true for digital marketers.

Now you can add more bling to your Instagram snaps with snazzy new app Over.

Over and out

As the name suggests, Over lets you add text and artwork over your images.

To begin, open your image in Over and select from the 280 fonts and 900 artworks available, with more being added weekly.

These can be further refined through re-sizing and re-colouring. Fonts can have additional effects, such as drop-shadows and masks, added too.

Over lets you tweak your text so it's not covering any important parts of your photo, and also offers basic image editing.

Spread the word

Once you're ready to publish, Over lets you see how your image will look on the major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. You can then share directly via the app.
