SMK’s app of the week: Sounds

Today we're looking at an app that brings together two of our favourite things, music and Instagram.

Sounds is all about bringing you the best of these two excellent worlds.

Sounding in

Sounds is a French iOS and Android app that lets users share their favourite music tracks across the major social networks including Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, and Tinder. 

Users can also discover new music from other Sounds accounts.

Music to your ears?

Sounds has over 3000 artists and labels on the app, including The Fader and Ed Banger Records.

And the early signs look promising. A quarter of the app's users listen to music on Sounds for two hours every day.

Sing it

While the online music space is dominated by the likes of YouTube, Spotify, and more recently Apple Music, Sounds has seemed to found the sweet spot through its Instagram integration.
