We’re not always our best selves online, so now Snapchat wants to help users do a bit of personal spring cleaning.
Did I say THAT?
Snapchat is finally giving users the power of deleting past messages in group and friend chats that may not have been all that noble or appropriate.
Breathe a sigh of relief as Snapchat unveils their intuitive system for hiding your dark past. How does it work? Simply press and hold the (un)desired message, which prompts a menu offering the choice to retract your dodgy declaration.
Hide your shame
The delete feature, being rolled out worldwide in the coming weeks, has one more suprise. Users will still be able to see that a comment was deleted, they just can’t see what.
Thankfully, forgetting the past is now a snap. Just beware of quick fingered screenshots.
What are your thoughts on the new “unsend” feature? Have you ever wanted to undo a comment? Give us your take in the comments below.
