Facebook has announced partnerships with small and medium businesses to build privacy directly into their services.
Getting down to business
With Privacy being the being the number one priority, Facebook is bringing free resources for businesses and developers to provide a basic overview of good security practices.
US Facebook has partnered with George Washington University Law School Professor Daniel Solove’s security and privacy training company, TeachPrivacy.
Each training session will consist of ten key factors that SMBs need to know about customer privacy. These sessions will be taught through Facebook’s Community Boost events.
Web and App resources
HackerOne has also partnered with Facebook to advise mobile startup developers through their FbStart program.
The goal of HackerOne is to have developers build and continue to grow their digital IP securely and will also be releasing a guide to help developers implement tight security from the start.
