Making up for lost time, Snapchat has rolled out some sweet new tools for advertisers.
They are the Snap Publisher tool, the Snapchat Certified Partners program, and a self-serve Ad Manager.
Self-Serve
The Snap Publisher tool is designed for building vertical video creative, Snapchat’s bread and butter when it comes to advertising. This will help repurposing existing content from TV or YouTube into Snapchat’s unique vertical format.
The Snapchat Certified Partners program will connect advertisers with approved third-party tech tool providers.
While the platform’s self-serve Ad Manager lets marketers buy, manage, and optimise campaigns. The service lets you spend as much, or as little as you like.
Marketers can purchase with auction, with prices set by market.
All in one package
These updates seriously muscle up Snapchat’s marketing chops, which have been traditionally been either light on functionality, or aimed at brands with deep pockets.
By giving brands the tools to manage campaigns from creative to execution, Snapchat will be hoping to attract more SMEs and turn around its stalling share price.
