Google Drive, Apple Music, Netflix, Amazon. Have you lost track of all your online subscriptions and sign-ups?
A clever new free service called Trim lets you track and trim your subscription list.
Trim and terrific
Here's how it works. You enter the details of your primary credit cards with Trim (which uses bank-level security).
Trim then scans your accounts to find recurring payments and identify subscriptions. It's smart enough not to include regular purchases such as your daily coffee.
Trim sends you a summary of your subscriptions, letting you know how much you're paying for each.
If you decide you don't need that subscription to MAD magazine anymore, Trim can either cancel the subscription, or search for discounts on the rate you're paying.
Lean and mean
While Trim only picks up bills paid in the last 90 days and could miss annual payments, it's an easy-to-use service that might save you a few bucks.
Especially with Christmas coming up.
