It’s well and good to be following heaps of people on Twitter, but the old adage quality over quantity still applies.

With this in mind, today we’ve put together a list of three Twitter accounts we think every Digital Marketer should be following.

1. Ann Handley (@MarketingProfs)

Author and head of content at Marketing Profs, Ann Handley is a veritable treasure trove of marketing know-how.

As you'd expect, Handley's Twitter feed is one of the best places to find links and insights from marketing wizards from around the globe.

2.Bryan Eisenberg (@TheGrok)

Bryan Eisenberg has been banging on about internet marketing pretty much longer than anyone else. Aside from being a digital pioneer Eisenberg is an author, keynote speaker and founder of Ideal Spot.

Follow him on Twitter if you want pro tips on how to provide top-class customer service and liberal lashings of motivation.

3.Amy Porterfield (@AmyPorterfield)

Amy Porterfield's Twitter place is dedicated to helping her followers monetise their marketing efforts and grow their social media fan base. Over 100,000 followers indicate she's doing something right.

Porterfield's feed is a lively place filled with practical marketing tips and general bits and bobs about life.
