Twitter launches Automated Verification for brands

Twitter has recently launched Automated Verification, making it easier for brands to establish their online credentials and avoid trolls and imposters.

Now brands can apply for Verified status by clicking on this link.

You'll need to provide information regarding contact details, images, website, and have your tweets set to public.

Once approved, a blue Verified Badge will appear next to your Twitter handle.

Bona-fides

The Verified feature isn’t new, however until now it’s been reserved for celebrities and high-profile accounts.

It’s an easy and quick win for marketers looking to lock up their Twitter accounts from potential trolls and social fails.
