WhatsApp has announced that users can now send any type of file to their contact list.
What’s App knows what’s up
Users can now send virtually any kind of files, from MP3s, to installers, all from WhatsApp on mobile or web.
A carousel system for photo and video selection will enable clients to share directly from the camera screen, bringing some efficiency to the forefront of the update.
The feature-heavy addition will be a natural step to users already familiar with versatile file and media sharing apps, such as Snapchat and Messenger.

WhatsApp has also rolled out additional support for photo filters and albums, video conferencing, and Story Statuses.
In an effort to remain competitive with feature-laden competitors, WhatsApp is following the current social trends while leveling-up their file sharing.
