More than two years after Google introduced extensions for its Docs and Sheets web apps, the company has brought a select few to the Android versions.
Google has partnered with eight developers to kick-off proceedings, while opening up a preview for others to get involved.
Ta-ta, tasks
As phones continue to grow and tablets hang around, Google has responded to the increasing number of users doing their bidding on mobile devices.
For example, millions of Android users have downloaded DocuSign and PandaSign to sign documents and complete forms.
With the two apps' Android add-ons, users can now complete the tasks directly from the Google Docs app, without having to get to a computer first.
Keep busy
Other launch partners include EasyBib for creating bibliographies, ProsperWorks and Zoho CRM tools and Scanbot for creating documents from photos.
Developers can find out more about preparing add-ons on the Google Developer blog, while users can find the add-on apps on the Google Play Store.
