Australia’s top Facebook Pages

Not a week goes by without Facebook being in the news for some reason or another, and amid all the updates and rumours it can be hard to keep up with what's important on the social network.

So we've put together a list of Australian's top Facebook Pages (courtesy of Social Bakers) so you can see how those at the top keep kicking goals.

Thunderstruck

Venerable rockers AC/DC are the chart toppers with a massive 28.9 million fans, more than the population of Australia!

A distant but respectable second comes Hugh Jackman (12m fans), Cody Simpson (7m) and the official Australia Facebook Page (5m).

Wine and burgers

Australians also love their food and drink when it comes to Facebook.

Yellow Tail wines is the most popular brand Page in Australia, with 1.1 million fans.

Coming hot on their heels are Pringles (1.02m), Coca Cola Australia (1.01m) and McDonald's Australia (910K).

Zombies and bananas

When it comes to entertainment, Facebook shows we're a nation of diverse interests.

The title for most popular entertainment-based Facebook Page is now held by computer game Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D (3.2m fans), which just pips Bananas in Pyjamas (2.9m).

Making up top five are computer game The Sims Freeplay (2.2m), Funny English Errors (1.46m) and Glee (1.44m).

Tastes like chicken

Nando's is the brand Page with the fastest growing fanbase, adding over 78,000 fans this year along.

Next comes Clinique (62K fans), Samsung Australia (51K fans) and Ticketek Australia (40K fans).
