While Facebook might be many things, rock 'n' roll isn't necessarily one of them.
Yet this might be set to change, as Facebook is getting into music ticket sales.
Hear the music
According to a report in The Telegraph, Facebook is partnering with Eventbrite to sell tickets for music festivals directly to UK users.
The tickets will be available under the soon-to-launch "Events by Facebook" feature, and can be snapped up via the Facebook on web or Facebook's app.
Rock on
User details will be pulled from their Facebook profile, and you'll presumably be able to let your friends know you're going to the gig.
The system will potentially let punters avoid purchasing from ticket sellers, who can have clunky e-commerce systems.
No word yet on whether Facebook will make it easier to get access to the mosh pit.
