Facebook has been testing new tools and experiences for content creators, and has shared their latest in community engagement and presence.
Growing the op
Facebook is focusing heavily on its Live With, Stories, and Watch Party features by adding new ways to make video more interactive and bring more original programing to the service.
Along with the video orientated bells and whistles, Facebook is launching a badge system to showcase super fans of creators. Fanboys and girls rejoice!
Building better business
A new video template is being rolled out to Pages, along with a more robust rights management system to help artists control where their content appears.
Meanwhile, a new Brand Collabs manager is in the works to help brands find creators to partner or collaborate with. Fan subscriptions are also in the works, which could see users paying creators up to $4.99 a month.
For more information, creators can go to Facebook for Creators to learn more about the benefits of Facebook’s updates. Where there is content, there is monetisation.
