Instagram is now recommending posts you might be keen on, whether you like it or not.

The new section, unambiguously labelled 'Recommended for You' appears at the bottom of the news feed and contains between three to five posts.
Instagram coughs up content based on the accounts you currently follow.
Easy does it
Instagram already makes subtle suggestions via the Explore tab, but these don't make it to the news feed.
Recommendations could introduce users to content from users that don't necessarily follow. They also forms part of Instagram's push to increase engagement, alongside the recent feature letting users follow hashtags.
However if you don't like Recommendations there's no way to turn them off. The most you can do is to hide them for a period by tapping the three dot menu next to the post.
What do you think of Instagram's new feature? Let us know in the comments.
