Do you want to speak tech? LinkedIn might be able to help, with a new study showing how to think like, and attract the attention of, Tech Decision Makers (TDMs).
Numbers game
TDM's are sort of a big deal. There are around 5 million tech-minded professionals on the platform, making up 30% of LinkedIn's total audience.
So who are these people? LinkedIn says they're a diverse, highly-engaged group prone to consume content across multiple devices.
Tech talk
TDMs actively search out insightful research and data on LinkedIn before making purchases.
They also 45% more likely to visit LinkedIn, and 31% more likely to engage.
Job market
The most popular jobs in the sector are IT and Engineering. However their experience and skil- sets vary. 66% are at a senior level or higher, while 35% are at entry level.
If you want to attract those TDM eyeballs, try publishing content around Industry Trends, Thought Leadership, and Colleagues' Activity.
Finally, don't forget that 43% of TDMs are likely to engage with LinkedIn on-the-go, so make sure you site is optimised for mobile.
