LinkedIn is launching a new way for users to show their mutual appreciation.
Ya done good!
According to LinkedIn’s data, seven out of 10 employees who receive appreciation for their work are more content with their jobs. With Kudos, users can show appreciation in fun and easy ways.
To get going, open the LinkedIn app and tap the ribbon icon found in the share box. Then select as many connections as you like, choose from ten kudos categories, and post!
Team members receiving a Kudos will see a notification signifying you gave them a shout-out. The notification will also appear in the member’s feed.
Categories of Kudos
There is a bit of fun to be had with the different Kudos options. “Outside the Box Thinker,” “Making Work Fun,” “Team Player,” and “Amazing Mentor” are just a few.
The update will roll out on iOS first, followed by Android and desktop.
What do you think about Kudos? Is it a bit of well-earned fun or too much silliness? Let us know in the comments.
