With graduation in the air and new professionals taking to the job force, LinkedIn is sharing its best recommendations to get employed.
Timing is key
After analysing the success of 2016-2017 graduates, the professional networking platform is sharing its findings in the LinkedIn Guide to Getting Hired in 2018.
First, apply immediately. The majority of graduates hired occurred within a three month window between April and June. August also proved a hot time for hiring.
At the moment, the most sought-after professionals are Software Engineers, Investment Bankers, Market Coordinators, Graphic Designers, Media Planners, Account Execs, Business Analysts and Recruiters.
Knowing the tools
LinkedIn is also offering Learning Classes to help job seekers amp up soft skills like Microsoft Office, Customer Service, Social Media, Public Speaking, and many others.
