LinkedIn has unveiled a new format to more efficiently share professional info to employers with only a few clicks.
Pre-filled forms quicken the process
LinkedIn says 80% of sponsored content is engaged via smartphone, when it comes to job opportunities.
The platform is streamlining the process of filling out forms via mobile devices with the addition of an auto-populated in-application form, which contains relevant information from user profiles.
Information such as name, location, company, job title, and seniority will be lifted from users’ up-to-date profiles. Links to a member’s traditional website will still be available to share after the form is received via a “thank you” page generated after the connect.
Essential info lifted and gifted with efficiency
Tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager will allow tracking of useful Lead Gen Form metrics, such as form fill rates to gauge returns on ad spending, with demographic reports to be added in the future.
Lead data will be made more manageable and allow potential employers to better promote opportunities directly to users and third-party marketers.
