Facebook overhauls Insights for Brands

In a somewhat dry yet important update, Facebook has updated its Insights Dashboard.

The refreshed dashboard sports a sleeker interface showing in-depth metrics at a glance, while also providing tips on interpreting the data.

You can view trends on your ad set's impressions, amount spent, results, and cost-per-results.

Facebook's new auction metrics are also a big feature of the redesign.

The dashboard can now provide insights into overlap between audiences, and how this might affect your ad spend.

Estimated Daily Results

As part of the update, Facebook has also unveiled Estimated Daily Results.

This means when creating a new set, or editing an existing set, Facebook now estimates a range of daily results including video views and website conversions. 

The Estimated Daily Results tool works with all optimisation goals, except product catalog sales, brand awareness optimisation, store visits, and impressions.
