They say it's not what you say, it's how you say it.
Embracing this philosophy is a new partnership between Shopify and Messenger, which lets brands turn conversations into sales.
Ring a ding ding
Brands on Shopify can now let their customers browse and purchase products on Messenger.
To get started, customers start a conversation with a retailer in Messenger, then tap the Shop Now button to view the product catalogue.
They can then purchase directly using Shopify's checkout.
Shop till you digital drop
Retailers can get started by adding the Messenger channel in Shopify. The partnership potentially opens up 165,000 retailers to Messenger users.
The update is now available to merchants in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.
