SMK’s app of the week: Wunderlist

We all organise our professional lives in different ways, but whatever your preference it's hard to discount the importance of lists.

An for all those compulsive list makers out there, one of the best tools is free app Wunderlist.

List

Wunderlist works with both iOS and Android and, apart from being quite clever, also sports a rather spiffy design.

Equally at home on desktop and mobile devices, Wunderlist's strength lies in its simplicity – it can be used to track everything from grocery lists to business plans.

Smarty pants

Wunderlist works around the principle of Smart Lists, which sort and schedule tasks according to their importance and immediacy.

You can create new lists and prioritise tasks, create due dates and set reminders.

For more complex tasks, Wunderlist provides a subtask check-list.

Cloud friendly

As with any self-respecting app these, days, Wunderlist is on good terms with the cloud.

Once signing up to Wunderlist you can synch all your tasks, which allows you to share your lists via email.

Wunderlist also gives you a modest amount of room to customise its look with a range of different backgrounds,

A head start

With over six million customers, Wunderlist has had plenty of time to tweak its user experience.

For anyone looking for free and easy-to-use organising assistance, it's worth adding to your to-do list.
