Twitter has released a range of new features to help brands offer more comprehensive customer service.
Service with a smile
Business accounts on Twitter can now advise if customer service is offered. Brands can also display which times of day service is available.
To make the change, head to the new Customer Support settings on the Twitter Dashboard.
Once selected, brands will be able to receive Direct Messages from customers.
Silver service
The update will make communication with customers more streamlined. Previously, users had to follow a brand to receive a Direct Message.
It also brings Twitter’s business pages into line with Facebook, which displays how responsive business Pages are to customer queries.
