With its new Partner Network, Vimeo promises to unite creators, marketers and brands, with ‘seamless integrations and powerful collaborations’.
With that pitch, you might think it’s a platform specific influencer connector. Nope. It’s a library of tools and services for creators and marketing folk to augment their Vimeo experience.
Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, Infusionsoft and MailChimp all offer neat lead-capture integrations. Collect email addresses via Vimeo embeds and feed them straight into your lists.
Google Analytics has Vimeo embed support and Microsoft’s got something going on with Flow too. Major cloud services (Box, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive), are promising streamlined upload procedures and easy collaboration.

Adobe is a flagship launch partner. A new panel in Premier Pro CC facilitates single-click publishing to Vimeo directly from Adobe’s interface.
Not on Adobe? A bunch of other editors are in the act too. There’s also video capture, animation, VR and live stream partners. Filmstro can bring the tunes and VidMob are listed too, if you need human help with post-production.
Some of the Partner integrations are genuinely tailored functionality, while others are little more than endorsements. Many of the tools and services are free or at least have a free access tier. More partners are promised, in time.
If Vimeo’s the right platform for your business, the Partner Network is a reasonable resource for finding ways you might do things better.
Where is Vimeo’s niche? Has it got a space for your professional presence?
