Vine is probably the best place for short-form videos on the internet, but finding those snippets of video gold can be difficult.
This is something Vine is looking to address with its latest update: personalised channels.
Bespoke in beta
Vine announced the news in a blog post.
"Our home feeds on Vine are filled with posts from the accounts we follow across comedy, music, sports and more.
"The world of entertainment on Vine extends far beyond our home feeds. There’s a ton of great content created by accounts you may not follow, and we’re bringing those posts to you."
Just for you
In the Vine app, a new tab called 'For You' will feature a personalised channel.
This will be populated by preferences in your viewing habits, or the type of accounts you follow.
With online video booming across Facebook and Instagram, brands may benefit from delivering bite-sized clips to lure audiences toward their longer-form videos or homepage.
