WhatsApp labels for your Forwarded Messages

Have trouble keeping track of messages in the hubbub of all your convos? WhatsApp wants to make keeping track of secondhand messages easier than ever.

The name game

Group chats and one-on-one exchanges are about to get streamlined thanks to extra context provided with the brand new labeling system, making it simpler to discern what’s fresh or forwarded.

To enjoy the new feature, you need only update to the latest version of WhatsApp and start forwarding with easier organisation.

The feature is a small but handy addition to an app that has fast become popular for businesses and data sharing, as well as personal interaction.

The WhatsApp promise

According to the platform’s own mission statement, “WhatsApp cares deeply about your safety. We encourage you to think before sharing messages that were forwarded.”

They would also like to remind users to report any spam and block contacts that may be counterproductive or disruptive to the app’s experience.

Users are encouraged to contact WhatsApp directly if they have any questions or concerns and can be reached here.

What do you think about the new labeling system? Have you had trouble keeping track of forwarded messages in the past? We want to know in our comments below.
